1] A joint production of Oklahoma with the Birkenhead High School was put on during the week of the 50th anniversary of the show's opening on Broadway.
2] The Lower Prep School [known as "Little School" ] was opened by the Lord Lieutenant of Merseyside, Henry E Cotton JP, on 13th October 1992.
3] Joint Deputy headmaster, Keith Stevens, retired after 37 years service.
4] Lord David Thomas Gruffydd Evans died.
5] June 1993 there was a production of Benjamin Britten's opera "The Little Sweep" in Bushell Hall.

1]Chief Guest at the OB society Dinner was Captain [later Commodore] W E Warwick [OB 1922 - 26] who became the first Captain of the QEII in 1968.
2] The Prep again won the Wirral Primary Schools' Sports.
3] T L Culf , who taught languages, died on 29th June 1967

1] In April the School athletics team won the Northern Public Schools' Sport event at Manchester.
2] During the holidays, as part of the war effort, the School assisted local hospitals, farmers and the WVS [leaflet distribution].
3] The speech day guest was Old Birkonian Kenneth lyon CB CBE, Assistant Under Secretary of State to the War Office.
School Year 1917/18
241 pupils in Big School and 104 in the Prep.
The number of serving OBs exceeds 500 for the first time. Sadly 67 deaths had been reported.
1] A considerable numer of serving OBs had received gallantry awards.
2] Prof. James Nelson Fraser, ormer School Assistant Master, died in Bombay on 12 March 1918.
